OMG! The name, the name took me a while to curate! I knew that I wanted it to honor the three people that I attribute my growth to the most, my mom, my Oma and my Grandpa Alvin, but I wasn’t really sure how to do that. I decided that I would use my mom’s name, Hope, somewhere, I mean who doesn’t need a lil bit of Hope in their life and business! The Oma part was difficult until it occurred to me to google words with the letters O M A in them. The first thing that popped up was Omani, a name meaning, “bringer of life”! I was sold on Omani Hope Consulting from that moment on! It was also in that moment that I realized that my mission would be to bring life and hope to businesses and the communities they serve. To incorporate my grandfather, I added OHC in braille above it. My grandfather was blind and probably my most favorite person growing up! He was an educator and an advocator, he wrote books about his life and his work, he taught me how to use my voice and be assertive, he taught me to see more than what the eyes can show you, and to listen to what people say and judge them by their actions and not their appearance. So, in a nutshell Omani Hope Consulting was named after the two women who motivated me to be the best version of myself and the logo was designed to honor the man that always knew I would be great!
