The process is simple. I listen and explore the problem with the client and determine if my consulting services are a correct fit! My work as a community-based case manager taught me that the resources are out there. You simply have to tap into them. Plus, my undergrad in Psych developed the research junky in me! There is a good chance that if I can't help you, I know or can find someone who can!

During the client's initial one-hour consultation, we will review and list client expectations, and OHC will specify what supporting documents and data are needed to get started. This consultation is free of charge, but my hourly rate kicks in the next time we meet! In the assessment and gaining insight phases, I prefer that services bill at my hourly rate. Once we move into the development and improvement phases, businesses can continue being billed hourly or enter a contract determining the project's goals, action steps, and timeline. Contracts include all costs associated with the project and specifies client expectations and what Omani Hope Consulting promises to deliver. Don't worry if your business doesn't enter a contract with us; OHC still provides a contract that outlines goals, action plans, and the project timeline.

In the development and improvement phases, we offer a wide variety of services within each service area. Please take a look at the services we provide in the attached visuals for more ideas on how we can help!

We generate a customized service plan that encompasses all your needs. Offering all the bells and whistles or a more streamlined package to meet your most fundamental area of need. Don't worry if you need something specific and don't think it fits with our services. Let's chat and see if I can still help fix the problem!

We have a reasonable rate here at OHC but understand that businesses have different funding sources and may need a rate based on their not-for-profit status. We offer a charity assessment for all not-for-profit clients to establish an appropriate and affordable rate that works! We also have flexible payment plans and can issue invoices weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly.

Our primary mission is to bring life and hope to your most significant business ideas! Let us help you get started making the improvements or building that program that will impact your employees, consumers, and community in a tangible way.

People always ask me what I mean by at-risk or vulnerable populations, and despite it being my jam, it can be challenging to explain, so I created a visual to help with that. As you can see, vulnerable populations are at a higher risk of physical, physiological, and social disparities and reside in underserved communities that lack resources. The overlap of these two areas creates a population of people at higher risk than the average person. Notice in the visual how many different groups make up the vulnerable population. Also, consider individuals who check the box on a few of these groups. For example, an elderly minority woman who is blind and living in a rural community is at more risk of health issues and economic instability than a person who is only elderly or not on the list altogether. For businesses to impact vulnerable populations, they have to understand the factors driving their outcomes. I not only understand these factors, I know how to use my education and skillset to train staff, create policy and build programs that support these folks and the businesses who serve them.

I am sure some of you are curious if I only work with businesses serving vulnerable populations, and the answer is no way! We consult for all businesses regardless of their consumers. My insight into vulnerable people, simply makes me a better consultant overall.

We are all about fixing problems, making improvements, and developing programs and projects for businesses that serve at-risk populations and communities. There isn’t a job too small or too big for us to not take the time to listen and provide solid recommendations. Even if we must refer you out, we will get you moving in the right direction. We are great at many things, but not everything, so we will never take on a task that is out of our scope. We don’t work a lot with the financial side of organizations; we are more the folks who develop processes and training improvements that impact billing productivity and employee retention. We can help you increase your revenue with A, B, and C, but we wouldn’t feel comfortable creating the budget for your organization if that makes sense?

As the owner of Omani Hope Consulting, I have had the opportunity to work with various people and organizations through my professional, volunteer, and personal life. My professional career is hospitality, behavioral healthcare, residential care, and healthcare administration. These are the areas that I poured my soul into for twenty years of my life, each position providing me with valuable tools that I have learned to build on and use to assist me in my work.

My volunteer work has given me the chance to learn the dynamics of community and not-for-profit organizations and only homed in on my ability to galvanize people and processes. Serving on boards and committees within organizations has developed my insight on strategic planning, resources, grants, community organization development, workshops, and continued education efforts.

My personal life is the wife of a high school history teacher and coach, now athletic director, and mom of two fabulous kiddos that happen to love everything from sports to their volunteer and career goals. Being right by my husbands’ side while he’s built classrooms and athletic programs has allowed me to volunteer in event planning, fundraising, and operations development.

So, in a nutshell, we take all our expertise and resources to fix problems for businesses. Whether you are a restaurant needing help with getting staff hired and retaining the team you have or are a behavioral health facility needing to prep for an upcoming audit with The Joint Commission, Omani Hope Consulting can help. My ability to build relationships with people has aligned me with some fantastic friends and associates who have unique and accommodating skills. Those relationships allow me to get creative and tap into my resources filling in the gaps in process, policy and procedure, and program and project management objectives.
